Are you in Harmony with the World?

Harmonessence is a term for the finding the essence of harmony within us. We live, work, and play in a world that is ever-changing. How we respond to the world, how well (or not well) we exist in the world is dependent on our own wishes and desires and our own perception of the messages from the outside world.

There are messages all around us. We are bombarded with them in the physical world via print media, television, the internet, etc. How we filter and process information depends on our individual perceptions. How we respond to them can guide us through our paths in life. How do you become aware of the messages? First and foremost, I have found Journaling to be an excellent source of uncovering the unconscious desires we hold as well as the subconscious messages we are receiving and sending. Secondly, understanding the energy of the world and how it works within each of us, the planet and the universe helps us to understand our place and responsibility in the grand scheme of things.

Why "Harmonessence"

The name "Harmonessence" comes from the union of "Harmony" and "Essence". "Harmony" because the world and everything in it works together in harmony to provide spiritual guidance and direction. Not everyone hears the melody. Not everyone can master the harmony. Together, the two (or three or more) parts work together to create something wonderful. "Essence" because it is not the physical form of harmony, but the intangible essence created when everything works in harmony that brings true enlightenment and enjoyment.

About the Author

Selena Randecker is an author, Reiki Master-Teacher, guide, and ordained minister in addition to wife, mother, and active community member. She has worked in both the public and private sectors, helping companies and people understand how to communicate for over 20 years. Her experience includes letter and proposal writing for Fortune 500 companies, creating training manuals and classes, and facilitating group communication in person and via remote methods. She began her journey at an early age and has been a Reiki Master Teacher following the Usui Method since 2001.
