Ma'heo'o Reiki connects us to the energies of the elements:  fire, earth, air, water and the Great Spirit.  It is an earth based energy, very different from traditional Reiki in its use of medicine wheels, drums, rattles, chants and natural connections to facilitate the healing process.

Ma'heo'o Classes and Levels

Level 1

In the first degree class, students learn about the basic precepts of the Ma'heo'o system. Students construct their own medicine wheels and learn how to open and close the medicine wheel for healing.  In this class, there is a basic introduction to auras and chakras for use in Ma'heo'o energy work and practice lessons to be done at home.

Level 2

In the second degree class, students learn about using drums, rattles, chants, and breathing to heighten the Ma'heo'o experience.  The Ma'heo'o symbols are introduced and practiced and the first self-healing exercises are demonstrated and performed.

Level 3

In the third degree class, students learn how to bring Ma'heo'o to others, through their own practice or through teaching.  Advanced meditations and lessons are learned, as well as suggestions for working with various other natural sources as shamans would.
